Is DBRepairs free?

Yes. DBRepairs is free to download and use under the GPL-3.0 open-source licence.

Does DBRepairs still have a desktop edition?

Yes. The desktop edition remains independent and uses a local SQLite database.

Is a Docker/server edition available?

Yes. Version 0.2.0 includes a server edition with a central PostgreSQL database and browser interface.

Can several computers use the same data?

Yes. Deploy the server edition and open it from multiple computers on the same network.

Does it support TrueNAS?

Yes. A TrueNAS SCALE 25.10 configuration is included and uses the published DBRepairs container images.

How are backups handled?

Desktop uses SQLite backups. Server mode supports PostgreSQL backups and restore, including scheduled backups.

Yes. Portable .dbrepairs backups transfer settings, customers, repairs, statuses and history between SQLite and PostgreSQL.
